This or That Tag!

I was meant to have done this tag a little while back (woops) as my friend Stephanie from Stephanie Maverick tagged me to do it, so with a huge delay - HERE IT IS!

Make-up
Blush or Bronzer?
I am definitely more of a blusher sort of girl - I love having rosy cheeks as everyone says I just look cute and innocent when I have rosy cheeks (I did just say look, I am definitely not an innocent girl!)
Lipgloss or Lipstick?
Definitely has to be Lipstick! I am a lipstick addict! I wear it everyday and carry around 3 different lipsticks with me everyday (even for college) just in case I want to wear another one!
Liner or Mascara?
Hmm tough one - I really like using liner but if I used liner, I'd have to use mascara to do my eyelashes cause otherwise that would just look odd - so I'll say mascara.
Foundation or Concealer?
CONCEALER!!!!! I have major, MAJOR, issues with spots at the moment so concealer is the one to be!
Neutral Eyeshadow or Colour?
Colour all the way - I really like the colour to compliment the liner I use and the lipstick I'm wearing and the colour of my bandanna! Co-ordination is key!!!
Pressed or Loose Eyeshadow?
Pressed because I am such a messy person sometimes and manage to throw everything all over my self... Convenience is key with me.

Nails
O.P.I or China Glaze?
I'm going to say China Glaze because I've never actually used O.P.I.
Long or short nails?
Long nails, not too long but long enough. (Not like the ones that look fake).
Acrylic or Natural?
Natural all the way! Because the more you use acrylics, the more they damage your natural nails. I've spent ages getting my nails to how I like them so much now so I avoid acrylic nails as much as possible!
Bright’s or Darks?
Brights! I like to be bold and brash - and I always love my nails being painted red!
Flower or No Flower?
I love flowers so yes, flowers, always.

Body
Perfume or Body Splash?
Perfume, because as my band members say I'm a "rich bitch".
Lotion or Body butter?
Body butter because I love my cocoa body butter from Morrisons and my Satsuma Body Butter from Body Shop.
Body Wash or Soap?
Body Wash because I really love my Soap and Glory 'Foam Call' Body Wash!!
Lush or other bath companies?
I'm not a fussy little bunny at all but I'm currently super in love with Miss Patisserie Products!!

Fashion
Jeans or Sweat Pants?
I've recently started to face my fear of jeans again. I used to live in jeans about 2-3 years ago, but I stopped as soon as I had people commenting on my bum, which made me have a huge fear of people judging my figure. Until the last 3 weeks, I've been wearing jeans and had more people comment on how fabulous my figure actually is - Body Confidence and nice people can do so much for someone like me!
Long Sleeve or Short Sleeve?
Short sleeve because I always like adding a cardigan or a cute jacket! Accessories is key!
Dresses or Skirts?
Dresses all the way - because I have own over 30 dresses already and its forever going up!
Stripes or Plaid?
Stripes because I've wearing a lot of sort of Psychobilly outfits at the moment!
Flip Flops or Sandals?
Sandals because they are a little more stylish then flip flops, and I only wear flip flops when running errands and doing stuff round the house!
Scarves or Hats?
Hats - especially the 40's style hats which I'm really getting into and buying for when the winter comes and pairing them up with a pair of cute gloves!
Studs or Dangly Earrings?
Dangly earrings for glamour when I do photo shoots, but for everyday I prefer studs as they are more out the way (like when I go to work or college).
Necklaces or Bracelets?
Necklaces - I have a habit of constantly fiddling with bracelets, I don't know why, but Necklaces I just don't fiddle with!
Heels or Flats?
HEELS! Because I'm 5ft 5, and I just love how I walk wearing heels and it makes me feel more confident!
Cowboy Boots or Riding Boots?
I don't really wear either, but I'd probably choose Cowboy boots!
Jackets or Hoodies?
Jackets all the way baby!!
Forever 21 or Charlotte Russe?
Forever 21 because I just love me a good bargain!
Saks 5th or Nordstrom?
I've never shopped at either so I can't say - sorry!

Hair
Curly or Straight?
Curly because it makes me look so super cute and beautiful!
Bun or Ponytail?
Ponytail because I love being silly and constantly swinging it around haha!
Bobby Pins or Butterfly Clips?
Butterfly clips for when I do my cutesy looks, but I use bobby pins all the time for when I style my hair!
Hair Spray or Gel?
Hair spray, especially my Elenett one because I just love that Hair spray with my life!
Long or Short?
I like hair which is kind of in the middle where its long enough to put up but short enough to wear down - around shoulder length. So I'm gonna say long I think?
Light or Dark?
Hmm I don't really prefer either, cause each hair colour is different on each person but for me personally light, because dark hair washes me out due to my light skin tone.
Side Sweep or Full Bangs?
I have in fact have had both styles in my life - and currently I prefer full bangs!
Up or Down?
I like my hair in an up-do with some hair falling down so I'll say up!

Random
Rain or Shine?
Shine
Summer or Winter?
Summer
Fall or Spring?
Fall
Chocolate or Vanilla?
Chocolate (nom nom nom)

East Coast or West Coast?
East Coast - I love New York!!!

I am also thinking about doing a post on a little wedding log book of what my dream wedding is! I've been watching Don't Tell The Bride (BBC3) and Say Yes to the Dress (TLC) on television a lot and it's made me start dreaming.... I mean thinking about my own wedding when I'm older! So if you want to see the post then let me know, or I might just do it and see what people think!

ALSO - I am finally doing my most requested post of them all! I am doing my Rockabilly Transformation - how I go from looking like everyday to photo shoot ready with steps along the way with how you can achieve this super awesome look!

Lots of Love

Weekly Overview; 7th July

My oh my! I am adoring this beautiful weather! It gives me even more excuse to wear one of my gorgeous dresses! Its the time of the week for the weekly overview, and today I'm writing outside because I cant bare to be inside with this weather!

My baby boy means the world to me!
Today All day I've just been sat in the garden and now I'm just watching the tennis while I write my blog! As you can see in the picture I'm having a no make-up day (I have some silly spots again so need a make-up free day to get rid of them!) and just relaxing with my dog, who is really struggling in this heat! Poor Freddie!

Monday I have some errands to run, and I need to go to Sainsbury's with my mum to buy some stuff for my birthday cake and possibly an air bed as I have 2 friends staying round on Friday night! Otherwise, I will spend the day relaxing and doing paperwork outside *yawn*

Tuesday I need to plan my OOTW, and get it all sorted! After, I'm not quite sure! I may do some of the cleaning and tidy my room and possibly hang some pictures on the wall, which I'm still undecided whether they should be on the wall or not!

Wednesday My mum starts baking my birthday cake today, so I said I'd help her, as it's a little complex! I also have the shopping being delivered, so I need to put that all away, as well as book a table for Friday! I will also be cutting the lawn and doing some gardening as my garden is so messy!

Thursday I have a pedicure and a manicure to look forward to! And I also have booked myself in to get my hair cut, as its getting rather long now, and you can't really see the layers! Yay! My brother has scouts in the evening and I need to start sewing his name into some of his clothes as he is going on a scouts jamboree the first week of August! I also need to get my dress out and need to start looking for a new suspender belt as my favourite one sadly broke!

Friday ITS MY BIRTHDAY!!! I'll be 18 years old! How time fly's! Today is a relatively busy but also relaxed day! I have a lay-in to around 8am-8.30am and my mum will make me some pancakes for a special birthday breakfast! And then I can open all my birthday presents and cards, my dad will also be taking the day off work, and my brother has an inset day from school! We are all going out for a family lunch to celebrate and then in the evening I am going out for a meal with my friends, and also have some friends coming over to stay! (I will probably have a drink, seeing as I'm legal... It'd be rude not too.)

Saturday My family have decided we are having a barbecue so its probably just another relaxed and chilled out day!

So, this week is pretty relaxed and chilled, but knowing my luck, loads of things will pop up and I'll end up being busy again!

Much Love

18th Birthday Wishlist!

Lindy Bop Pink Cecelia Wiggle Dress  - £22.49 (25% Sale across site)

Top Cats Smashing to the Ground CD

These are some of the lovely things I want for my 18th Birthday (on the 12th July), I haven't shown you all the things I want, because otherwise we will be here for a while. Some things I don't expect to get but you never know till you ask! I also want to add that the two Lindy Bop dress' shown above, I am in fact getting! One from my partner and the other from my brother! I tend to usually end up being a pain to buy for, so I always have to make a list! If you have been following the blog for a while, you'll know I am in a band - well on Saturday (28th June) when we all had a relaxing chilled day, the lovely boys (Ricky, James, Chris and Addy) gave me my birthday present early! They gave me an envelope, and a letter was inside! The letter said that on the 11th July I have been booked in for a deluxe manicure and pedicure including a foot massage! How super lucky! I am always complaining about how rushed off my feet I am when we have a lot of gigs along with long hours at work (plus they still want to know how I can handle being on stage in super high heels!) I really cant thank them enough for treating me like this!

After my birthday I shall do a blog post on all the lovely presents I received! I bet they will all be lovely!

Much Love

Weekly Overview (June 2nd)!

Since I fell ill this week, I had to cut my hours down at work as I have to be super careful with the children I work with. So instead I ended up doing a photoshoot with my lovely friend Eddie for his recent project. Since it was half term though, I got paid extra to work so I am still okay financially (for now!). So, whats for the week to come?

Today: With having some serious throat strain earlier this week, my band and myself have arranged a day of just rehearsing our new songs and just a little jam. However, we are also going for a 'band outing' to the garden centre to have a little nosy! After I'll probably just come home and relax and look at updating my Sky TV Subscription in my room *sigh*.

Monday: Today I am at work again, I have lots of appointments in the clinic department of my work so I will be drinking a lot of coffee and seeing a lot of students with their parents and carers! I have 3 annual reviews today, and I also have to help with my own brothers botox injections in his legs (oh fun). I finish work at 2 and get to come home and cook my dinner and relax in my room again, and maybe do some browsing on some blogs! (Don't forget to leave your links below in the comments so I can have a look at yours!)

Tuesday: Another morning spent at work working in the clinic again (its that time of year!) However I finish at 11.30! This is my last week before going back to college where my hours will drop again and I will be working weekends and nights a lot more! After I get home I will do some blogging, before going to my singing lesson to try and sort my voice/throat out again!

Wednesday: I am working in the multi-sensory room again today, until 12.30 but then I will be meeting some royalty who are paying a visit to my work! I will be meeting alongside with the colleagues and students at my work, the Duchess of Gloucester (Patron of the school) and the Duchess of Cornwall! (How exciting!!!). After, I will probably come home, and cut the lawn and ring Sky up before doing some singing practice at home and then going to band practice!

Thursday: I get a lay in!! ... Well until 9.30 and then I have to go to work for 3 o'clock till 7 and then I will go out for a meal with my colleague Esther and then come home and watch Psychobitches on Sky Arts!

Friday: Day off to get things ready for college again! Today I will be spending my day in my room songwriting, bag sorting and sorting out lots of blog posts and stuff for you all! Ah gosh!

Saturday: Thankfully I am only on-call this weekend but there is still a good chance I can get some rest! Hopefully, this Saturday I will be helping my family with things to do round the house and hopefully I will be going to speedway with my good friend Charlie! Lets hope I don't get called off to work!

See you next week for my next weekly update! I doubt it will be as interesting as I go back to college however I will try and get some fun things to do in!!

Love

What's That Smell?!

Good Day my fellow beauties! How are we all?! I hope you are feeling fantastic!
Today I thought I would share with you all my favourite fragrances which I own!

Yes, I have to admit I am one of them ladies who prefers the Eau de Parfum (EDP) to the Eau de Toilette (EDT), this meaning that the EDP is dearer then the EDT; which for little old me who can't always afford EDP I usually savour each bottle of perfume I buy!

Lets have a look at some of my favourite body spray fragrance's first!

1. Okay, so I am an absolute sucker for Soap & Glory Products; and these body sprays are absolutely no exception! I tend to wear the 'Mist You Madly' (Pink) most days when I am going out shopping, to work etc. On the packaging bottle it says "A flirty floral fragrant body spray" which it most definitely is! The scent of this body spray is to die for and I always find pairing this with a floral dress always gives you a girly and beautiful feel about yourself which can always lighten and brighten your mood if you are feeling a little low!  The next is the 'Glam-A-Lot' (purple) spray, this is described as "Soft and Sexy Fragrant Body Spray", this spray I tend to wear if I am going on a date or seeing a guy I particularly like; it has a musky tone to this spray, and tends to work like a perfume to me! The scent lasts for absolutely ages, I tend to spray some on my clothes as well as my body, and the scent will still be there the next morning! I think this one definitely lives up to 'soft and sexy'! The last one of these 3 is the 'Girligo' which is a moistursing body mist, I tend to put this on after I have had a shower or if I am feeling a little low or tired I put this on just before going to bed as this just helps to give your skin a soft feel and lovely smell! I find that this body mist has a floral undertone as well as one which makes you feel refreshed and revived!

2. The next body sprays I'll be looking at are the Impulse body sprays; I tend to have one of these in my handbag or in the car for an emergency freshen up (Example - On a long car journey and about to pop into the services or just getting to the hotel/relatives house)! I tend to stick to the same 2 of the Impulse range; the first being the 'Into Glamour' Spray; I find that this spray is quite a floral and citrus scented spray which I find is always perfect for summer or a night out! This spray is quite strong so you never need to use too much and I find that any of the Impulse sprays seem to last for a lot longer then you'd probably think! The next spray is the 'Tease' spray which smells quite exotic and fruity compared to the 'Into Glamour'spray. The fruity scent to this spray is just so yummy and I absolutely adore it! You can find these little sprays anywhere on the high street if you are in desperate need to freshen up and make yourself have a beautiful scent!!

Okay so now moving onto Perfumes, sadly which I am slowly running out/finished some of these and then need to re-purchase them!

1. Paco Rabanne 'Black XS' EDT - I adored the smell and aroma of this perfume, it was  musky and just had a beautiful dark sort of smell to it! It was such a 'sexy' and 'sassy' sort of perfume, which I could just not stop wearing every single day! It was all thanks to my friend Beth from college who actually introduced me to this perfume as I asked her what she was wearing one day and said this! This small bottle of EDT usually lasted me around 2 months (if used sparingly) but if I used a lot it used to only last a month and a half! The smell always seem to last all day instead of being really beautiful for about 2-3 hours and the smell fading, I could put this on at around 6am and still have the same aroma at around 7pm when I'm home from work and college!

2. Dolce & Gabbana 'The One' EDP - Lets start with the fact that I love this perfume and I seriously cannot get enough of wearing it! However, the sad part is I cannot actually afford to keep buying it to wear it all the time! I have probably bought this about 3 times already in the box set with the body lotion, (which for the sake of it, also smells amazingly gorgeous, and my ex-boyfriend even commented on how beautiful the smell of it was!) I generally buy my perfume from either The Perfume Shop (if I can get there) or from Boots in my local town for about £50, (including the lotion). The smell of this perfume is just so devine, it has a warm sort of smell to it and not too over-powering like it would knock your nose for six! It has floral tones which gives a fantastic smell if you like wearing a lot of floral dresses and items of clothing like myself! I find this perfume is great for either going down the road with the girls or going out for a meal with that special guy! Perfection in a perfume!

To be quite honest with you, perfume wise, I haven't ventured much out of my comfort zone or from what I know and what I like... I always used to wear body sprays but over the past year I've been wearing perfume more, as it lasts longer and the smell lasts longer then body sprays! When I purchase or look at any more I shall notify you lovely lot, but until then this rounds up the 'smelly' blog! I hope you liked it! Short and Sweet... Like me! Except not sweet? Hmm..

I'd love if you could check out my lovely friend Stephanie's post about her favourite Spring Scents - its so sweet!

Much Love and Many Wishes

The Fringe...

Just before the locks were copped!
Good Evening from a blizzard like UK! The snow has just not stopped coming down! Meanwhile I bare some good beauty news! I finally got the courage to get my hair re-styled into a sophisticated... Yes, you have read right, sophisticated bob! The image on the left was taken just before I had my haircut by my fantastic hairdresser Laura, in the image I am wearing a beautiful Oversized Pink Gingham Rockabilly Bow from Beauxoxo which I absolutely adore!!

All Change!

The image on the right shows my hair after it has just been beautifully styled! I decided I would go for some 'bangs' - yes this is actually the technical term! I absolutely love my new hairstyle and I hope you do too! I didn't actually have any length taken off my hair, just the split ends out, and my layers re-done, as well as my fringe being cut in!

I hope all you beauties are well, and stay beautiful!

Love and Hugs

Shopping Haul!

Hello my beauties! I am finally back - temporarily! I will explain the whole situation at the bottom of this post however lets blog on... Last month I have done a lot of shopping to make-up for the fact I won't be buying too much this month due to a lot of goings on! I have been out and about to various places and shops so I can't do a haul on just one particular shop, however, I will show to you everything I have bought!

Starting with the products I bought from Boots. I realised I was running low on some of my beauty essentials so I decided to do a little boots haul! As you can see from the picture on the left I bought 2 Barry M Nail Polishes out of the 'Gelly Hi-Shine' collection. Barry M 'Intense Black Mascara 3 in 1', Natural Collection Loose Face Powder and a Soap and Glory Liquid Pen Eye liner  So starting with the Nail Paints. The red paint is called 'Blood Orange' and the gorgeous green/blue toned paint is called 'Greenberry'. I have already tested both of these and I am currently flaunting the Blood Orange. These do exactly what they say on the tin - they leave a glorious shine on your nails. I applied about 2-3 coatings on my nails to make the coating even. The only downfall of these gorgeous coloured nail paints is that they chip so easily! I painted my nails on wednesday night and I have already chipped 6 nails... Woops! I bought the nail paints for £3.99 each with a promotional offer on £1 off on 2 selected Barry M Products... Not bad! The next product is the Barry M Mascara. I usually have a Victoria Jackson Mascara however I am rather skint so went for a cheaper option on the actual packaging of the product they claim that it 'Volumises, Lengthens and Curls'. The mascara most definitely gives my eyelashes some volume and length however the curl? No way! I bought this mascara for £6.19, so not an awfully huge amount of money but as long as it darkens my eyelashes I'm happy! The next is the Natural Collection Loose Face Powder; I got this in neutral translucent as this was the lighter shade. I use face powder as it just helps to hold my make-up such as foundation on for a little longer then usual, which really helps if you are out all day or at work! I absolutely adore NC products, and this is another added to the list! I got this for a nifty little £1.99.. BARGAIN ALERT! The final Boots product I purchased was the Soap & Glory 'Supercat Carbon Black Extreme Eyeliner Pen'... I usually use the Collection 2000 liquid liner however it always stings when first applied so I decided to try another make and here we are! Ever since this eyeliner pen arrived to me I have fallen in  love with it! It is so easy to apply and runs super smooth when applying to your eye! You generally only need to apply one coat as it comes out super black anyway! This hardly ever smudges only if you rub your eyes really hard! They even say on the packaging of the product that it has a 'foolproof marker tip!' if you apply liner a lot or struggle with putting on eye liner then you should definitely purchase this eye liner  I bought this for £6.00 and every penny has been worth it with this product!
On the left you can see myself wearing my fantastic new scarf from Accessorize! I got this beauty scarf for £19, however I actually had a £20 gift card to use which I bought this with! The feel of this scarf if absolutely divine  Its super soft and so easy to add to an outfit! I love wearing this with a black dress about knee length and some heels and basic winged eye liner and make-up and a pink lipstick! Fab-u-lous!

The next product is the gorgeous kitsch flower wash bag! This is a John O'Donnell beauty accessories bag which I bought from my local Lloyd's Pharmacy for £10. I needed a new wash/make-up bag as my current bag is falling to pieces and looks very grubby! This beauty has a double zip to meet at the top and a compartment on the bottom of the bag. In the actual bag it has waterproof lining so if anything is damp or happens to spill in the bag then you just need a damp cloth to wipe it off and its good as new! I adore the pattern on this and the shade of blue is one of my favourites!

Yes I have been to Body Shop! I never really tended to head towards Body Shop before as I could never really afford many of their products! However I was lured into their shop as mother's day is coming up and my mum loves Body Shop cosmetics! So I went in and I fell in love with pretty much the whole shop. I bought a gift set for my mum as she likes the coconut toiletries from BS. I got this for £16, which isn't a bad price - in the set you get; a body scrub ball, coconut soap bar, coconut body cream scrub, coconut body cream and a bottle of the coconut shower cream. You can also see that there is a Satsuma Body Butter as well, I got this as a free gift for signing up to the Body Shop gift card! I got this for £5, and every time you go to body shop you get 10% off your purchase, as well as this once you have got 4 stamps you get a free gift worth up to £5 and if you get 8 stamps you get a gift worth up to £10, also you get a free birthday gift and treats in your birthday month (mine being July!)

The last product I bought was from Claires. I am always one for trying out new and crazy things with my hair and decided I would try these 'hi-styles' by Scunci. I have had a love/hate relationship with this product so far. They have instructions on how to use the product and how to use it in different hairstyles, BUT I have had so much trouble trying to put this in my hair on my own! Maybe its just me I don't know but I always struggle! I got this for £5 so not a huge spend but I will keep trying till I succeed with this! I got this in blonde as I have blonde hair, you can get it in other colours to your hairstyle though!

And that is it! Now I said I would explain why I have been having problems with my laptop! My Dell N5110 laptop has caused me nothing but grief lately and I have had to get this fixed 3 times in 2 months! Costing me a bomb! I had my laptop fixed again this week yet I have 2 recurring problems; if there is a time that I haven't said why I am absent from blogging that is probably because of my laptop! I will try and let you know via my blog using my dad's laptop!

Much Love
