Nine X Lingerie - Babydoll Review

Today I'm going to be reviewing this gorgeous babydoll by Nine X Lingerie! Once they got in contact with me to review a piece of theirs I just had to accept - I've had a few pieces from Nine X before from when I've bought some lingerie for modelling!

They sent me the gorgeous Mira Satin and Mesh Babydoll - I chose to have it in the colour Turquoise because it looked absolutely stunning!

I got the babydoll in a size 22, just because I like to have a little extra room in my lingerie to compensate for my girls! When wearing the babydoll you can see that I opt to wear without straps sometimes, for me it holds up quite well without the the straps. For me personally, with the straps it pulled the piece quite high up, which is good for those who may have issues with showing too much cleavage!

The overall aesthetic and feel to the piece is wonderful and absolutely beautiful - the piece has 2 mesh panels at the side which are clear which is absolutely love! It just separates the piece up a bit and gives it a little sexier twist!

On the front of the piece you have a scalloped lace detail on the hem of the top and bottom of the babydoll and on the back you have the same piece of scalloped lace on the top but on the bottom you just have the satin material run straight down. Back to looking at the front of the babydoll, the straps are of a stretchy material, they are very comfortable as well! There is a little black bow on the front of the babydoll in the centre of the lower bust line.

Overall I really love this piece, it has enough sexiness to not be too over bearing for those who may want to be a little subtle but enough cheekiness with the mesh on the side to still be sexy; its really comfortable and is so comfy to sleep in as well! I would get a male's opinion but I have no male to give me one... But I'm sure it will definitely be a hit with your significant other too! I'd super recommend this product and Nine X is such a fantastic company - especially due to the fact I've not been able to blog and being understanding that I couldn't do the review right away.

This product is available in sizes 8 - 24 and is available in Black, Purple, Red, Turquoise and White.

Turquoise Mira Chemise Babydoll - £16.99

Valentines OOTW; Perfect Pin-Up

It's been a while since I've done an OOTW on my blog, but sadly I've been very ill for the past 7 weeks which means I just haven't had the energy to do any OOTW's after being ill and also working my day job & also modelling at the weekends.

But today I'm showing you my 'perfect Pin-Up' Valentines Look! This is a gorgeous little summer dress from Collectif that I got last summer, but haven't had much of a chance to wear it or shoot with it yet. So as soon as I was shooting my Valentines Photoshoot on Saturday (Images will be over on my facebook page over the next few days and weeks!) I had to wear this gorgeous number.

Photo & Post-Processing - John Bellingham
Model, MUA & Hair Stylist - Emma Victoria
Baby Pink 20 inch Petticoat, Hell Bunny - £25.00
Black 6.5 inch Heels, Charity - £5
Baby Pink Chiffon Square (Headscarf), eBay - £4.00
1940's White Size 5 Gloves with Lace edge Detailing, Vintage Shop - £10

I totally love this gorgeous look, its adorably cute and sweet and just oozes with the love that Valentine's Day is filled with. I simply adore the Pink Hibiscus Flowers, it adds the summer feeling I've been missing for so long and its the perfect dress to stand out with on Valentines Day if you have a special someone.

If you want a darker Valentines Look then why don't you look at my OOTW from Last Year

Make-Up
Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation - Ivory
Natural Collection Face Powder - Neutral
Victoria Jackson Sunset Eyeshadow Palette (Gold & Pale Pink)
Bourjois Blush - Rose D'Or
Bourjois Clubbing Linner - Extreme Black
Rimmel 1000 Kisses Red Lip Liner
Barry M Red Lipstick (Blue Undertone) - Shade 151

Hair has been curled in opposing directions to create a ringlet and swirl as the hair sits on my shoulders, I used Tresemme Firm Hold Hairspray and did a wet set curl and left in overnight.

I hope you have a fantastic Valentines Day and Weekend. I might go and see Fifty Shades of Grey if I'm well enough and can find someone to go with me!!

Lots of Love

OOTW; The Christmas Edition '14

Well, its Christmas Eve! Which means today's OOTW is going to be what I'm wearing over the next 24 hours... and the last OOTW of 2014! I normally go super super elaborate at Christmas, with a gorgeous dress; which I did actually purchase. But sadly after feeling a little bit low emotionally the past few days I went and bought a more casual comforting outfit to try and make me feel a little more 'cuddled'. (Silly I know, but its the little things).

I do feel a little upset and let down that I feel so low at this time of year, seeing as I've been so excited for Christmas since November but alas that is life sadly!

'Twas The Night Before Christmas

Tonight I'm going to be wearing my new pyjama set from New Look's plus size range 'Inspire' ...
As you can see I opted for the 'I'm a train-wreck' look with unbrushed hair and no make-up and also posing next to my natural habitat...

Oh I Wish It Could Be Christmas... Everyday!

So as I said, its very casual this year, unusual for me, but I just honestly don't feel in the mood. People should be glad I'm even making an effort to put make-up on if I'm honest!
Black, White & Grey Long Line Jumper Dress, Peacocks - £18
Slub Cable Knit Cardigan, Peacocks - £25
Large Bun Hair Donut, Peacocks - £3
Baby Pink Glitter Bow, Beauxoxo - £5

My face is also very very plain, I'll probably rub some glitter rub on me on the day if I can find it and pop on some perfume - but otherwise I'm sticking with foundation and mascara.
Base is;
Collection 2000 Concealer in 01 Fair
2True Concealer in 01 (Under Eyes Only)
Rimmel Match Perfection in Ivory
Maybelline New York Dream Satin Liquid Foundation in Ivory
Rimmel Scandaleyes Mascara

My hair is very simple, just up in a bun using a large hair donut and added a cute bow for some cuteness.

I also painted my nails (sorry for the messy edges I literally just painted them and hadn't cleaned them up yet!). I used a matte varnish for the first time ever. I used the Barry M Matte Nail Paint in Shade ' Crush' number 441 - its mix between a deep purple/plum and a rich burgundy, I can't really decide. But I'm very impressed and this is my absolute favourite shade right now!

Well I hope you have a wonderful Christmas, not sure if I will be posting up a Saturday post this week as I'm going to the rugby in Twickenham on Saturday but we'll see... If not I hope you have a Happy New Year too!

See you guys soon!

Lots of Love

OOTW; The Charlotte..

WARNING - THIS OOTW IS JUST TOO DARN CUTE!!!!!!!!

Hello darlings, me again!!

So after Saturday's post being rather a bit formal and sad (please read if you haven't already, it is rather important), so I decided to do the most adorable OOTW possible!!

White Chiffon Headscarf, eBay - £4

Lavender Charlotte Dress, Hell Bunny £30
(Size 16)

Marilyn Cat Eye Sunglasses, Wear it Again Sam - £9.99

Peep Toe Slingbacks, Peacocks - £12

MUA Luxe Lip Lacquer, shade 'Reckless'

Nails
White Barry M Polish
Blue Sparkle Barry M Polish
I cannot get enough of this look, its just perfect and cute all rolled into one! I definitely get that cute 50's teen feel with this outfit, it makes my figure look fab by enhancing my curves and sits just on the knee making it not too short!

I'm currently using a new red lipstick, which I've discovered! I really love the velvet finish to the lips when using this lacquer, although it dried my lips out at first it did give an amazing effect!

Review

Overall this dress ticks all the boxes... The skirt has amazing movement and is perfect for twirling in! This dress is fairly similar to the Gretel in all fairness, it has an adorable trim on the bottom of the skirt, and a thicker trim on the bust and pockets with a ribbon to tighten the top for cleavage (I went for the full on in your face boob cleavage, because I wanted a 'sexier' edge to the cute 50's teen).

I also really like the fact this dress has pockets... Sometimes when I go out, I just take my purse and phone and not a handbag, and the deep pockets on this dress make it perfect for me not have to carry everything in my hands. As said above the light material on this skirt is perfect for twirling, I often test without a petticoat just to see how well the skirt flows and this one definitely gets my seal of approval!

Since losing about 15lbs over the past few months, I've dropped drastically in my Hell Bunny sizes in clothes, I used to wear a 20/22 but now I'm actually fitting into 16 and 18's a bit better. I tried on my Bobbi Lee dress the other day and I'm slightly sad in the fact its too big for me, so I'll probably have to tailor that down.

Overall the Charlotte dress is a perfect light dress for summer, I'm completely loving Gingham patterns this summer and this lives up to my satisfaction/collection of gingham!

Love you lots

OOTW; The Saturday Dress

The other week I went to the Brighton Vintage Fair and Decided to go shopping in Brighton afterwards! While walking through the lanes I arrived at my favourite stall, the one with all the pretty vintage dresses! Then this one caught my eye... I'd been eyeing this dress up for a while and it was only £30! When picking this dress up however I got my sizes completely wrong... I forgot that a large was a size 14 NOT 16... BUT IT STILL FITS PERFECTLY! Two in one!!!!

Saturday Dress, Hell Bunny - £30
(depending where you buy from)
Bow Tie Shoes, New Look - £5 (sale)
Hair Flowers, Amazon (Pack of 10) - £3.89
White Sunglasses, Bow and Crossbones - £6

I've put my hair in plaits quite a lot recently, and it just looks so cute! Because I'm growing my hair a little I've not been able to do this in ages! Anywho, on to my make-up I just went for a super simple look for this outfit and just had mascara and a little bit of pale pink lipstick just to go with the purple of the dress!

Seeing as my hair was in plaits I just decided to put a white and purple hair flower on each side for that extra cuteness and my white sunglasses just add to the retro style of this outfit!

I'm not wearing any shapewear/corset with this dress, and no bra as it holds the boobs up quite well!

Cheeky jumping shot too!!

Eeek, I'm just loving summer!

OOTW; Schwing...

Happy Wednesday!!! I am just loving this summer weather we've had!! This weekend I went for a couple of dog walks with Alice and Freddie and taught Alice to swim! However... A few people are still going on about me and trousers so here is another trouser outfit that I really like and have been sporting a lot recently!

White Cinch Belt, Hell Bunny - £5
Black T-bar Heels, eBay - £15
Sock bun, Peackocks - £1
Vintage Circle Sunglasses, Vintage Fair - £5
Swallow Love Necklace, eBay - £10
This outfit is very much a crossover of the 40's and 50's, I personally just wanted to make this outfit a bit more flirty with the cleavage from the Dolores top, plus seeing as its summer I don't want to have a too heavy top as I would just get hot. I just went for a simple black and white look with this outfit purely because I just wanted it to be simple and effective and making the cinch of the waist stand out more. By going simple with the colours, it also makes the red lipstick stand out more, which I personally love by highlighting this one part of the outfit!

You can also wear flat pumps with this look, I just opted for heels! The Franky Swing trousers are a definite must-have in my opinion... These are perfect for creating that vintage look but also making your bum look amazing!!!! I got mine in a 22, mainly because trousers are normally tight on the bum for me, but these were just a tad too
big! So I tailored the inside seam to make it tighter and also tailored the length in the leg as it was just a tad short for me, seeing as I only stand at 5ft5.5 in height.

I went for my signature rockabilly look today - just half white and half golf eyeshadow, Starting with white across the whole lid and in the crease and about half the eyelid in golf eyeshadow blended out, winged eyeliner and ruby red lips! I'm super loving my new sunglasses at the moment too! I got these when I went to the Vintage Fair on the 1st June. These are slightly different to my usual Marilyn sunglasses as these are a little more rounded, but they are just so cute!!!

Well that's all from me! I also have a YouTube video going up this Saturday!! I told you it wouldn't be months till a new one goes up! This is just a beauty faves video as suggested to me by my friend Josie! So look out for that!

Love

OOTW: Casual & Classy

Yup, I'm back to my hectic life again (sigh) college, work and modelling are all back at the forefront of my agenda again and things are going to be getting super busy. I thought I'd share a super comfortable summer suit look I've been wearing to my work meetings recently when its been warm, and I'm just totally loving everything about it!

White Long Sleeved Cardigan, Next - £16

White and Black Peter Pan Collar Top, Primark - £3

Black Pencil Skirt, Thrifted

White Bow Wedges, Simply Be - £20
(Discontined)

Isn't this just adorably cute?! I love how figure hugging it is too, and shows off all my lovely curves!

Hair and make-up are super simple, seeing as I have to wear this to work - I just have a thin winged eyeliner with a dab of foundation and my Baby Lips lip balm in 'Pink Punch'. I've just pulled one side of my hair back with a white hair flower just for a little more cutesy look. I'm giving my hair a little break from styling just so it doesn't get too damaged with the curling and the setting every other day or so!

See you soon my petals!

OOTW: Naughty & Nautical

Last summer I set myself a target to get back into one of my first rockabilly dresses I bought a few years ago... and I finally did it! I still have a little way to go, but I finally fit back into this gorgeous and cheeky dress! This is a Hell Bunny XL dress which is a UK size 16... YES I FIT INTO A 16 EVEN WITH MY BOOBS!

Seasick Sue Sailor Halter Dress, Hell Bunny - £42.99

What Shawl, Charity - £5

Black Marilyn Cat Eye Sunglasses, Wear it Again Sam - £10

Rockabilly Pumps, BabyCham - £15
(Discontinued)

What I love the most about Hell Bunny dresses in particular, you can often find dresses from a few years ago still being sold - which makes me happy if I were to ever want to re-purchase the dress, then I can!

This dress in particular is one of my favourites because it has POCKETS! You don't often find dresses with pockets, but this adorable little thing does!

Can you tell it was super sunny when I took this picture? Make-up is pretty much the same, I decided to wear my Barry M lipstick in no.52 'Shocking Pink' seeing as some of the detailing on the press was in pink too! My hair is pretty basic, just tied back in a ponytail with my bangs and fringe completely unstyled for a change!

The dress has super twirl action too and for those who have asked me quite a few times, I do wear short underneath my dresses, just in case there is a gust of wind and I have a Marilyn Monroe moment!

Lots of love my petals!

The Furry Friend Tag!

Before I start today's post, I thought I'd just say about the new blog look! On Thursday, I decided I had finally had enough of the blue background and the header girl, that I just changed it all! The blog posts writing is now lilac, the writing over the blog is bright pink, the background is white, and the header girl is even more like me (with the love of polka dots!)... Hope you like the new look!

--------------------------------------

The moment I saw Stephanie from Stephanie Maverick tagged me in this... I HAD to do it! (Make sure you check out her post about her cute cat Lilly!). I'm going to tag EVERYONE OF YOU! Yup, every person that reads this, I tag you to do this! Or leave in the comments below something about your beloved pet!

1. What is his/her name?
I have 2 dogs, my eldest is Freddie who is 6 and my young puppy Alice who is 20 months old. Both are my babies as I do the majority of stuff for them apart from walking which my dad helps with, SOO I'm doing both my bubs!

2. When did you get Freddie & Alice?
I got Freddie as a puppy from a local breeding farm in 2008 (he was born December 2007), Freddie came home to us at 8 weeks old as a puppy.

I got Alice last September from a rescue centre called Labrador Rescue, Alice is originally from Ireland, but her home is now here in Sussex!

3.What is something Freddie & Alice do that annoys you?
It HAS to be the constant barking at completely nothing... Both dogs are guilty. They will just bark, bark, bark, bark and bark for no reason what so ever!!!!

4. What type of breed are Freddie & Alice?
Freddie is a high pedigree Labrador and Alice is a 2nd generation Labradoodle which is a Labrador and a Poodle.

5. Has Freddie or Alice ever had a near death experience?
When Freddie was 12 weeks old, we found a large lump on the top of his head which was a tumour, the vets removed it and told us that if the tumour had grown about 1/4 of an inch longer Freddie would've died.

Alice is just a doppy dog, so she has little injuries all the time but never anything serious (and hopefully not!)

6. Does Freddie or Alice know any tricks?
If you say cheese to Freddie he normally pulls this particular face and pose to try and get the cheese of the counter.

Alice on the other hand has skills of being able to balance on 2 legs for about 2 minute periods, we never force her to do it, she just does it. Its something we actually want her to stop, but we reckon it could've been something encouraged from her previous home.

7. Does Freddie & Alice like to snuggle?
Freddie is a grumpy old dog now, so he's content just sleeping and doesn't really like people fussing over him when he sleeps. He just uses you as a pillow instead and drools all over you.

Alice just constantly wants to cuddle and snuggle up to you when she's not wanting to play with her ball. Only the other day was she cradled up in my lap (yes on my lap) and was cuddling my arm!

8. Where did you get Freddie & Alice?
As said above Freddie came from a local breeding farm... the place was absolutely immaculate, you wouldn't even believe it was a working farm which had horses and at least 4 dogs and many other animals!

Again as said above, Alice originally came from Ireland, but we rescued her from Labrador Rescue.

9. Do Freddie & Alice get along with other dogs?
Freddie loves other dogs, he likes to play with them all the time on his walks! He's just the overly friendly Labrador!

Alice is a little anxious about other dogs, mainly because she's never really been that socialised with them, so doesn't know how to greet properly. Which she is now being trained to do!

10. Does Freddie & Alice get along with strangers?
Freddie just loves to say hi to everyone, you'd think if he had the choice he'd go home with everyone except us.

Alice has a lot of trust issues with people, so will often bark at strangers on our walks, whether they have a dog or not. Its mainly because she just doesn't know if they okay or not, as often as possible I try and get the person to greet her and come down to her level just so she starts to feel secure.

11. How much does Freddie & Alice weigh?
Freddie has lost weight since he last went to Vets, he did weigh 37.2kg, which wasn't actually fat for him, its mainly cause he has a very big build like his father (yes Freddie's dad is still alive and I see the owners walk him all the time!). Freddie has a vets appointment soon so I'm hoping he would've got down to at least around 34kg.

Alice weighs 24.5kg, she still has a little bit of weight to put on as she is very bony. Which isn't just the poodle in her. She is on about 2 cups of food a day plus peanut butter regularly to fatten her up a bit!

12. Do you ever dress Freddie & Alice up?
Freddie only really has his collar on, he doesn't like stuff on him. Not even shampoo!

Alice has little bows that go in her fur, but I don't force her to wear them. She knows how to take them out herself so if she doesn't want them on she can take them off!

13. Has Freddie or Alice ever tried to runaway?
Freddie has escaped a few times into my neighbours garden, but he's just too scared to runaway so normally barks for someone to go and fetch him!

Alice has never had the chance, she always has to look at people to reassure herself that its okay to go outside (that's another phobia she has, and its a pain when you want her to go outside and play!).

14. How did you come up with Freddie's and Alice's names?
Freddie's full name is "Fredrik Labwrens Thunder" and my surname. We all kind of liked the name Freddie so it just kind of stuck! We made a final decision when we went to see the last 2 pups they had for sale (they had a litter of 8, 6 girls 2 boys, and the only 2 left were boys) if we got the other dog it would've been Oliver or Charlie!

Alice already came with her name, but she didn't have any middle name at all, we like to make her feel inclusive as she is the baby of the family so Alice is now called "Alice Rose" with my surname!

15. How much do these animals mean to you on a scale of 1-10?
1,000,000,000,000... My love for my babies is indescribable. I love them so much, I'd do anything for them. They have their arguments between each other, and yes I have to tell them off when they fight sometimes, but I love them so much like I still love all my other pets that are no longer with me.

OOTW: Stella Sweetheart & Review

Today we have a 2 in one! My OOTW and my new dress!

OOTW

Cream & Navy Cricket Cardigan, New Look - £18
(Bought 4 years ago)

Cream Bobby Lace Socks, eBay - £2

Rockabilly Flats, Babycham - £15
(No longer available)

Varied Size Pearl Necklace, Primark - £3

Black Cat Eye Sunglasses, Wear it Again Sam - £10

My make-up is the usual winged eye liner and red lipstick, however I've been recently experimenting with darker eye shadows and been working with more stone/neutral eye shadow shades. So here I have a natural tan eye shadow with a very pale grey in the crease blended out. My hair is actually 2 days old (yuck I know but I had an accident and had to keep my wounds dry for 48 hours!). 2 days previously I had set my hair in tight pin curls and after laying on it 2 nights in a row my hair still had loads of volume and still really wavy.

Review

I bought the Stella Sweetheart dress 2 weeks ago from my favourite brand Collectif (if you've been reading the blog for a while you'll know my collection is slowly growing) I've been awing over this dress for what feels like forever and I finally bought it in navy! This dress is super duper comfortable, its also super easy to wear with or without a petticoat. The texture is super soft and comfortable - I got this in a 22, mainly because I'm always suspicious with the fit on my bust with a lot of dresses, however I always have the option of tailoring my dresses for me with my sewing machine so thats no hassle.

Personally for me a really important factor in swing dresses is the 'twirl factor' if the skirt twirls really easily and its a winner... I love the Stella dress even more!!!!!!! I asked my friend to twirl me around while doing a bit of jive dance and it was such a nice flow on the dress!

A lot of ladies with bigger busts have spoken to me in the street about wearing halter necks, and for me personally I find them comfortable - again with the material that is used with the Stella dress, its super comfortable and doesn't pull on your neck too much either! The dress cinches in really well at the waist, and for me its the perfect dress to wear in the summer when it arrives! This dress looks like it could be a regular feature come my summer wardrobe!

Just a little reminder for those who have asked about seeing some of my modelling work make sure you head over to my facebook page  to go and see all my photos from my recent shoots!

Please excuse the cuts on my legs/ankles. I had a fall at my photo shoot on the 1st March and they are still clearing up!

OOTW: Trip to London

Last Thursday I went to London with my best friend (and she's a photographer!). We've been friends for just over 6 years now, and we love to meet up and just wonder round London and end up in Soho and have a bubble tea (if you haven't had one, you haven't lived! They are amazing!). First of all, we went to Winter Wonderland which was amazing, and I got a Dalmation plush toy (his name is Toby) and then we just went for a walk. We went to Covent Garden and we visited my most favourite shop in the whole entire world... Collectif!!!! We had a lovely chat with the girl in there (and she was lovely!) and I also bought a new polka dot scarf!

Winter Detachable Faux Fur Collar Coat (2012 Season), New Look - £70
Pale Pink Handbag, New Look - £19.99
Fur Collared Pixie Boots, Clarks - £60
White Cat Eye Sunglasses, Bow and Crossbones - £8
Sorry this image is blurry, my little
camera just did not want to focus!

Blogmas Day 18 OOTW: Reindeer Cutie!!!!

This onesie has to be the CUTEST outfit I have ever owned in my whole entire life. I bought this last year from Next after falling in love with it in the catalogue - and from that moment I knew it had to be mine! Everytime I walk around the house my family always call me 'Ruth the Reindeer' their female spin off of Rudolph cause it has a red nose, and yes I run round the house like a reindeer...

I can't actually see this exact onesie in Next this year, but there is one similar but instead of mink coloured fur its red and white spots with the reindeer face! (Click here!)

Blogmas Day 10: Make-Up; Retro Christmas

Okay so I thought I'd do a simple retro style Christmas themed make-up today - its super simple and easy to achieve so nothing too complicated!

I used my new Scandaleyes Mascara, my big eyeshadow palette using the Shimmery Gold, Pine Green Shimmer and Ruby Red eyeshadow. I also use my Rimmel 'Glam Ice' white eyeshadow as a base! I use my Victoria Jackson eyeliner in black, my rimmel lip liner in red dynamite and my Barry M lipstick in shade 158 (a red with a pink undertone). And last but not least my Barry M glitter liner in Gold!

Step 1 Prepare your Face
First of all you just want to do your basic face routine, such as spot creams, moisturisers and then foundation. I use my Rimmel 25 Hour liquid foundation and then use my Natural Collection pressed powder in 'warm' to finish my skin. I then put on my eye primer ready for the next step...

Step 2 Your Eyes
You then want to start applying the white eye-shadow as a base coat, and then blend till this is only slightly visible. I then begin with adding the gold (the one in the middle of the picture!) into the corner of my eye and leave to blend later. I then go ahead and add my red eye-shadow the rest of my eye leaving a tiny gap between the gold and red to then blend together. I recommend blending from the corner of your eye outwards, this just makes sure the red doesn't go into the gold. After blending I take a thin eye-shadow brush and use the shimmery green eye-shadow (much like the colour of a Christmas tree) into the crease of my eye and blend. I then add a thin line of winged eye-liner as close and as thin as possible for a minimal effect on your eye. don't worry if its too messy just try to keep the line as straight as possible. Then you can use the glitter eye-liner on top for a super cute Christmas effect!

Step 3 Your Lips
I use my Rimmel lip liner in 'Red Dynamite' and make my cupids bow super emphasised. I take the lines just above my natural lip line just for a super effect. I then colour the rest of my lips in and add my Barry M Lipstick.. And then you are done!!

Well I hope that was simple enough!
15 days till Christmas!

Lots of Love

Blogmas Day 8: Snowflake Nails

Today I thought I'd do a cute little nail tutorial the pictures aren't complimentary to what I've done but I shall try my best to explain to you best I can!
I decided to just do sparkly nails, as snow is always sparkly in the sun, right? On my thumb nails I decided to do a snowflake (like I said you can't see it too well, only vaguely).

The products I'm going to be using are: Rimmel Clear Nail Varnish, Barry M Diamond Glitter Nail Polish, and Barry M Matt White Nail polish along with the Barry M Nail Art Pen in Silver.

Step 1: Base Coat
Apply one coat of the clear nail polish, this just gives a protective layer between the coloured polish and your nail.

Step 2: Apply the White
Next you want to apply the white nail polish, I did 2 coats just to make sure my nails are fully covered and the white is nice and clear. I then leave these to dry for about an hour or so just to make sure they are fully set!

Step 3: Glitter & Snowflake
On the other 4 nails that you aren't putting a snowflake on, put several coats of the glitter on to make sure you get decent coverage and its super sparkly! While these are drying then use the nail art pen to draw a snowflake (I know its not the best picture in the world but you can get a rough idea from the picture on the right!). Once this has dried then add 2 coats of the glitter polish on top of your snowflake. If you wish you can add some silver dots on the other nails to represent snow like I did!

Step 4: Protect
To fully protect the nails, just add your clear nail varnish just to protect your nails from chipping and leave to dry - and voila!

We are done! I hope you enjoyed this little post!

Blogmas Day 4 OOTW: Retro Party Present!

This is just a simple little party look I've put together, I super love black dress' for going out just because they can go with anything. With this outfit I've gone for a 'present' sort of theme with all the little bows!

I super love this one shoulder batwing dress, and I don't normally wear dresses this short, but it doesn't look too bad!

Black One Shoulder Dress, New Look - £Unknown (bought 2 years ago)

Pink Bella Bow Belt, Collectif - £10

Pink &White Brogues, New Look - £15.99

Pink Glitter Bow, Beauxoxo - £5

For my makeup I did my usual winged eyeliner with mascara and my lips I used my Rimmel 1000 Kisses Lip liner in Black Tulip with my Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in shade 107, this is a very berry/plum tone lipstick thats perfect for winter. I thought I would add the Beauxoxo bow to run along with the present theme too, it just adds that cute little touch!

I thought I'd show you what I got for Alice today as well *WARNING CUTENESS!*
I bought some cute little bows at Pets at Home for £3 - Freddie refuses to wear anything but his collar but Alice is the opposite! Doesn't she just look so cute?! We are both matching with our bows!

Who thinks the gold reindeer is such a cute little touch?

21 days till Christmas!
