OOTW: Lindy Bop Lois Dress

Yet another lovely dress from my favourite budget dress company... I couldn't help to not buy this dress in Lindy Bop's 25% off sale at the end of January and I had been eyeing up the Lois dress for quite a while now!

Lois Secretary 40's dress, Lindy Bop - £29.99

Leopard Print Headband, New Look - £5

T-Bar Heels, eBay - £15

Recently I've really been getting into the whole 1940's style and preppy sort of style. Just feels so natural and lovely, and this dress is the for-front of my outfit list at the moment!

Blogmas Day 18 OOTW: Reindeer Cutie!!!!

This onesie has to be the CUTEST outfit I have ever owned in my whole entire life. I bought this last year from Next after falling in love with it in the catalogue - and from that moment I knew it had to be mine! Everytime I walk around the house my family always call me 'Ruth the Reindeer' their female spin off of Rudolph cause it has a red nose, and yes I run round the house like a reindeer...

I can't actually see this exact onesie in Next this year, but there is one similar but instead of mink coloured fur its red and white spots with the reindeer face! (Click here!)

Okay so this week is another black little number, this time its my John Zack short long-sleeved lace dress! This is just a cute little outfit and perfect for a quick evening out down the pub with some friends! My make-up is just a simple winged eye-liner on top of my trio of eye shadow's layered and blended from my 24/7 make-up portfolio palette. I also added my new 'Pink Punch' babylips lip balm just for an extra little glam that wasn't too over the top!

Blogmas Day 8: Snowflake Nails

Today I thought I'd do a cute little nail tutorial the pictures aren't complimentary to what I've done but I shall try my best to explain to you best I can!
I decided to just do sparkly nails, as snow is always sparkly in the sun, right? On my thumb nails I decided to do a snowflake (like I said you can't see it too well, only vaguely).

The products I'm going to be using are: Rimmel Clear Nail Varnish, Barry M Diamond Glitter Nail Polish, and Barry M Matt White Nail polish along with the Barry M Nail Art Pen in Silver.

Step 1: Base Coat
Apply one coat of the clear nail polish, this just gives a protective layer between the coloured polish and your nail.

Step 2: Apply the White
Next you want to apply the white nail polish, I did 2 coats just to make sure my nails are fully covered and the white is nice and clear. I then leave these to dry for about an hour or so just to make sure they are fully set!

Step 3: Glitter & Snowflake
On the other 4 nails that you aren't putting a snowflake on, put several coats of the glitter on to make sure you get decent coverage and its super sparkly! While these are drying then use the nail art pen to draw a snowflake (I know its not the best picture in the world but you can get a rough idea from the picture on the right!). Once this has dried then add 2 coats of the glitter polish on top of your snowflake. If you wish you can add some silver dots on the other nails to represent snow like I did!

Step 4: Protect
To fully protect the nails, just add your clear nail varnish just to protect your nails from chipping and leave to dry - and voila!

We are done! I hope you enjoyed this little post!

17 days till Christmas!

Blogmas Day 7: Favourite Christmas Songs

I thought I'd share some of my favourite Christmas songs with you all! At the moment I have my 2 favourite Christmas Albums which are the compilation CD"The Best Christmas Album, in the world... ever!" and "Christmas Tales" by my favourite violinist Alexander Rybak... The first CD is actually my mums as she bought it before I was even born, and sadly this CD is beginning to show its age, but we are hopefully going to buy a new one (probably the same CD) soon! I know a few songs will be cover's of over songs, but to me they are still beautiful and they still have that meaning to them!
Below will be a list of links of my current favourite Christmas Songs, a short, sweet and relaxing post today!

Alexander Rybak - Silent Night

Elton John - Step into Christmas

(Hint - it's from the Grinch!) Jill Zadeh - Where Are You Christmas?

Slade - Merry Christmas Everybody

My ultimate favourite Christmas song in the whole entire world is Fairytale of New York - I cry everytime I listen to this. Everything about it...

Simple post today, but it gets us in the Christmas spirit!

Soap&Glory Foam Call Review!

I thought I'd do a little review today as it feels like forever since I reviewed a product! I've nearly run out of this body wash and I must say I have been rather impressed with it overall!
I bought this bottle around 3 months ago from Boots for £6.50 - me being me I didn't think that this product would really last that long as I used LOADS of body wash! However for once I really did get my money's worth of a product! This body wash has a really fresh flowery smell which is just beautiful and I just can't wait to have a shower sometimes just so I can use this beauty! Another strong point I love about this product has to be that it has a pump top - when I'm in the shower and I squeeze bottle I tend to find they slip out my hand and I can never get a good grip on them!

The product itself is a white creamy shop and only needs
little water to become really foamy - You don't need to use too much of this product either as you do get quite a lot for your money! I normally have a thing against Soap and Glory sometimes due to the price - I love all their products a lot don't get me wrong but I'm normally dubious of the price but for once I was really pleasantly surprised how long this product actually lasted! I normally use this with a puffy wash ball because it feels super nice and feels like it exfoliates my skin and makes it feel so super soft!

So what are your favourite Body wash products to bathe with and what if any are your favorite Soap & Glory products?!

Blogmas is growing ever nearer!

OOTW: No Effort Required

I know, I know, its been what 2 weeks or so since I've done an OOTW - but I have felt so low these past 2 weeks, and I just did not feel in the mood to do anything including blogging. But now I am finally back on track, I am doing OOTW's again and scheduling posts for when I can't get to post due to the amount of work I have! Anyway - what does the title mean? Well, this week has been a lazy kind of "can't be bothered" week, so I just went for a simple neutral coloured look...

Its the first post of October - and I'm now finally beginning to get back on track with my blogging schedule with the amount of work I have and with the new dog! I am being super cheeky this week as I'm showing you my current new favourite Autumn 'go-to' outfit which I wore for a photo shoot on Saturday (Images will be in a collage below!). I super love this outfit as its retro and also super comfy and warm with the weather getting cooler!

Ivory Pearls, Collectif - £15.00

Denim Jeggings, Peacocks - £12.00

White Wedges, New Look - £11.99 (Similar here)

Earrings

Handmade Swallow & Flower Earrings by 'The Ever After Nook'

For my hair and make-up I did my usual Winged eye liner (not too thick, just below the natural crease on the eye lid) and I used my current favourite lipstick Barry M shade 121 and also my favourite lip pencil the Revlon ColorStay Lipliner. My earrings are from the 'Ever After Nook' - I actually got to design these myself and these will soon be out for general release (keep an eye out on my blog for details soon!).

ALSO after this week I will be doing the next 4 OOTW's all being Halloween inspired with 'how-to's' on to acheive the looks for Halloween! So if you have any ideas then please comment below, or comment on my facebook page (please like my page!) and I will take them all in for consideration!

OOTW; Fab Forties!

I seem to be apologising a lot right now don't i? Well again... I am sorry! I didn't intend on posting this so late tonight - I've been working myself down to the bone today with doing lots of work for a band I'm writing some song's for plus 3 lots of college work to get through and to write my personal statement for University! I took these pictures in advance because I knew that I would be really busy and plus I'm only wearing nice clothes when I go straight out at the moment due to the new puppy!

Hair Flower (Pack of 10), Amazon - £4.99
Freddie Knitted Top (Candy Pink), Collectif - £34.50
Black Liesel Skirt, Collectif - £46.50
Ivory Pearls, Collectif - £15.00
Tie Up 'Oxford' Style Shoes, New Look - £5.00 (SALE)

This look is very simple and to me is very a much later 1940's sort of look with the circle skirt. Personally I love this outfit as its very cutesy and also super feminine. You can also easily pair this outfit up with a nice pair of heels, however I'm not too keen on super high heels (but that's personal preference) maybe a pair of about 2-3 inches will go nicely with this outfit! I've also done my make-up super simple by using just concealers and mascara without any eye liner as this day my eyes were so watery and no eye-liner would stay put! I put my hair in little bunches just because it incorporates the cute sort of look again and people always say I look sweet with bunches! With the braces on the skirt, I opted to go for the criss cross affect on the back as this is just my preferred way of wearing them as they sit better on my shoulders instead of when they are just straight.

I will get back on track with posting with my schedule soon just my life has been turned upside down at the moment and I'm running here there and everywhere getting things done and walking dogs!

ALSO - I now have a Facebook page which I'd super love if you gave me a like as I'm currently on 47 likes which is super for little old me! You can either use this link(https://www.facebook.com/pages/Emma-Victoria-Model-Blogger/448421955276200?fref=ts) or use the little widget I have on the top left sidebar!

OOTW; Classy Bella

Today I'm finally showing you my gorgeous new Lindy Bop 'Bella' dress in Turquoise! I'm now having to take photos of my OOTW's on the landing in my house due to the weather getting worse and the rest of my house isn't really that interesting. I bought this a while back and every time I came to show it in an OOTW I put it in the wash cause it was dirty - typical aye? So here it is finally!!

(also available in Raspberry, Blue,Black & Red)

Silver Shoes, Clarks - (Hand-me-down from Mum!)

I super love this dress and I'm not even wearing Shapewear with this outfit! I also find this dress just seems to slim my stomach right down and also boosts the look of my curves on my busy and hips (not forgetting my bum!) This dress has a buttoned detail on the front and at the back it has an open back just to the top of the middle of your back - there is a ribbon at the top to just add to the detail of the dress and it just pulls everything together at the back! This dress it probably one of my favourites right now - its super flattering and you can even get it in a few other colours! I really love Lindy Bop dresses as they are vintage style without the huge price tag - I love Lindy Bop dresses and my collection of their clothing is forever growing (I have just bought the Antoinette dress and the Serena dress - woops...)

This isn't a very lengthy post because I literally just got dressed to do this post for you all as I currently have a fever and I've been poorly and sick!

My post on Friday will be another Tag post (from Stephanie Maverick, read hers before I post mine!).

See you all soon my lovelies!

The First Time Tag!

Hello! Its that time of the week for my weekly post on anything that I feel like posting - today's post is going to be 'The First Time' Tag which my lovely friend and fellow blogger Amna from ASQGenerates alerted me of on Twitter!

1. First Best Friend?

My 1st Best Friend is still my best friend now! My friend Sophie and me have been friends since we were around 2 -3 years old! Now we are both 18! We have been through so many ups and downs through the years, and our greatest memory has to be the Easter egg being thrown against my wardrobe cause I couldn't open it! I really hope that we have many more memories together in the future and that we never ever lose touch! We are 15 years strong!

2. First Kiss?

Oh sugar, I can't remember this far back *blush*... If I'm correct (which I really hope I am) it was with my first boyfriend Jason - we had been together for 3 months and it was just a simple little peck on the cheeks, nothing more, very sweet and very innocent. After him I've only ever kissed 1 other guy... and that was my longest relationship (10 months) but he left to move to New Zealand.

3. First Concert?

Oh crickey, I'm super proud to have said my first concert was My Chemical Romance (15th November 2007) - I know the date because this was the best day in my life EVER! Seeing my favourite band ever, and they were the first band I ever got to see! Their set was amazing, it was part of the Black Parade Tour, and I wore my Black Parade jacket, black tights, black boots, military style dress/top and my BP make-up. Oh the good old days!

4. First Celebrity Crush?

I know (and I hope) that I'm not the only person to say Duncan and Anthony from Blue! I was absolutely in love with them when I was younger. Everytime I went to stagecoach and we did our little exam pieces I guarantee it was always either a Blue song or a Steps song. I'm still not afraid to say that Duncan still isn't bad looking...

5. First Word?

My first word was Dad... I've always been a daddy's girl so that's no real surprise!

6. First Pet?

I'm gonna say my nan's dog Coco - Coco wasn't my dog but when I was younger I spent a lot of time at my nan's when my brother was born due to his complexity of his disability then. Coco was a chocolate minature poodle, who tragically died very quickly due to Cancer. Then it was my nan's cats who I also spent a lot of time with, Holston and Cosmic. Who also died due to Cancer (trend here?). Then I got my dog Freddie who is a beautiful Yellow Labrador!

7. First job?

My first job was with Brighton and Hove Albion football club (queue the abuse) - I am a Blackpool fan, I always have been, however I started working and training as a wheelchair football coach and did my Duke of Edinburgh with the club. I joined back in March 2009, and left in March 2012 after many disagreements over how things were being ran and how some children were being pushed to the side.

8. First Phone?

My first phone was the Motorola L6 in Blue! I blooming loved that phone, however I was on Pay as you Go with Orange (this phone was given on the contract). However, Orange screwed us over big time and virtually stole our money.

9. First Tweet?

I have absolutely no idea! This was 22,849 tweets ago. It was probably along the lines of 'how do you use twitter?'...

10. First make-up?

It was the Miss Sporty 'Spot On' Foundation - I've always had really bad spots on my face, when I get them, I get them badly. (I have some seriously sore ones right now, and they hurt like hell!) I still buy this now, as it does help a bit to reduce redness and the duration of them!

Now I shall tag some people I think might want to do this cheeky little tag!

Stephanie

Georgina
Emily

P.S Next week will be another tag that Stephanie tagged me in (check hers out before you see mine!

OOTW; Angelic Autumn!

Its getting near my absolute favourite and beautiful time of the year! I absolutely adore autumn! I love when the leaves turn to beautiful shades of orange, yellow, red, auburn... When I'm older I'd love to have a wedding in the Autumn - it'd be oh so perfect! I absolutely adore this outfit, generally because its still summery but still warm enough as the days are starting to get a bit more chilly now the Summer is behind us...

Black Waist Belt, New Look - £4.99

Cannes 50's Circle Skirt, Hell Bunny - £29.99 (same here)

Babycham Flash Flat White Rockabilly pumps, Amazon - £16.37 (I can't find these anywhere online, I bought them in 2010!)

Pack of 10 Hair Flowers, Amazon - £4.99

I decided to just go with a simple sort of cute look for this outfit. Nothing to complex, just 2 little plaits at the front of my hair clipped at the back with a hair daisy to just polish it off. My make-up is also super simple - Foundation and face powder for coverage, and I just used my Natural Collection Eyeshadow in 'Candyfloss' which is a baby pink and just blended it in and added mascara to my eyelashes. My nails are painted in the Barry M shade 'Prickly Pear' and Silver Glitter Polish - I just wanted to add a simple little statement with the lilac to compliment the red on the skirt!

Well I hope you enjoyed this weeks OOTW! Just a reminder that all OOTW's will be posted on Wednesday's now, unless I state otherwise! I also have one dress left for sale on my Ebay (emmavictoriaaa2011).

OOTW; Curvy Collectif!

As I mentioned in my weekly overview on Sunday that today I would be meeting some of the lovely people who follow and support my band, we sat in Costa for around 2 hours with lots of coffee's and coolers, and had a lovely chat! We then went for lunch and after lunch we went to the park and did a little sing song and people passing also stopped to have a listen! My outfit today is a cute 'Collectif' look, and I bought both these items in their Hot 50 Sale at the end of July!

Black Liesel Skirt, Collectif - £46.50
White Trixie Cat Eye Sunglasses, Bow and Crossbones - £8
'Love' Quote & Swallow Necklace, Gift - £Free
Gold Buckle Waist Belt, New Look - £5.99

For my make-up, instead of doing my normal black winged eye liner, I used a glitter liquid liner and just did exactly the same style as normal and touching up my eyes with mascara, on my lips I have used the Seventeen lipstick in shade 'Hollywood', I'm really sad as this lipstick just broke on me one day, but the colour of this is really beautiful! For my hair, I did a loose low pony tail at the back of my neck, and then folded this in on its self, to create this simple look; its good because its not meant to look perfect or tidy! You can finish off your hair with a hair flower!

For my nails, I have painted them in the Barry M nail polish in shade 'Peach Melba' which is absolutely cute! For my shoes I am also wearing my new flat shoes I bought from Clarks! After breaking my 2 toes I realised I should buy some proper shoes instead of cheap £10 ones all the time which gives my foot no support what so ever! I chose to get this in patent instead of the matte shoes generally because patent looks a little more finished and prettier then the boring matte ones (plus they are easier to clean!).

Much love my lovelies!!

Summertime Swing Photo Collage!

I know its my second post today, but I'm making up for not posting yesterday, as I just didn't have the time! So here are all the pictures I took yesterday, I do hope you enjoy them! I think the best moment of the day was having a picture with the Jive Aces!!

Sunday, was an absolutely amazing day! I had my best friend, some amazing music, dancing, and lots of giggles! We had the most amazing homemade slushie drinks, which were divine! Best Day ever?! Definitely a strong contender!

Weekly Overview; 5th August

Can you believe we are in August?! Jeez, I'm losing track of my time! I'm doing today's post in advance as I won't have time to actually write this today. Also, I'm super sorry for writing it today, as yesterday I was just too busy to post it!

Today I'm taking my friend home, and my parents are coming home from a weekend away. Its just a relaxed day I think for me, I may just do my OOTW ready to post on Tuesday (I may even use my outfit from Summertime Swing on Sunday).

Tuesday I've no idea what I'm doing for most days this week, generally because my dad's at home, and that means we decide to go to places on the actual morning of going somewhere (sigh). I tend to be quite organised at the moment and don't like deciding things last minute.

Wednesday Again, I don't really know what's in store, I hope we can go out somewhere and do something fun, but who knows, All I do know, is that my parents are going out for a meal with their friends in Eastbourne and are staying over, so.... home alone for me again! I'll probably just watch a DVD and cook dinner... What an exciting life I lead.

Thursday My parents come back home... Again I don't know what I'm doing... Ugh I hate being unorganised and not knowing what I'm doing!!

Friday Today my cousin is coming down from Blackpool with her foster child. When my dog went up to Blackpool last year when we had our house done out, he absolutely loved Freddie, so my cousin Lucy is bringing down to London and then coming down to see us!

Saturday I know what I'm doing today!! I'm going to the Vintage Transport Festival in Horsted Keynes with my friend Anja! I'm tempted to go on the Bluebell Railway, cause then I have an excuse to go on it (hehe!) Or I can get the bus!

Well... I have an interesting week ahead aye... Lets hope things get a little more interesting as the week goes on... If you want to follow me around on what I'm doing then make sure you follow and check out my twitter @EmmaVictoriaaa and you'll be able to keep up to date with me!

Much Love

OOTW; Photoshoot

I've been out shopping all day today, so hence why I'm doing my post now! This weeks OOTW, is an outfit I wore for a photoshoot yesterday!

White Cut Out Sleeve Shirt, New Look - £10

Marilyn Cat Eye Sunglasses, Wear It Again Sam - £10

Shoes (can't see in this picture) are Black Patent Heels from Clarks, however any black shoe will do.

My make up is my typical everyday look, with the winged eyeliner, and I'm wearing my new long wear lipstick by Fashionista in shade 'Coral'. This is a red lipstick with a pink undertone, and is pretty resilient to coming off! I've also done my hair in a quiff, just slicking back my fringe and incorporating it into the rest of the my hair, and set in with the Tresemme Hair Spray!

Much Love

OOTW: Pretty in Pink!

Who enjoyed the fantastic bank holiday weather we had? I most certainly did! Just to clear things up, I actually took these photos yesterday before going to perform yesterday afternoon, and I am absolutely in love with my new outfit and dress!

Pink Polka Dot Hetty dress, Lindy Bop - £29.99

Black Belt, New Look - £4.99

Pink Record & Music Clef Necklace, Bow and Crossbones - £4.50

Gold Jewel Kitten Heels, New Look - £5 (last pair in Sale)

Pink Glitter Bow, Beauxoxo - £5

Sock Bun, Peacocks - £1

I hope you like this look! I adore dresses with the full circle skirts, you can wear these with or without a petticoat! I love this dress while wearing the petticoat as it just gives that extra 'wow' to the outfit! I also added the Glitter bow for a bit of sparkle to this outfit! For my make-up, I just have a simple thin winged eye liner and I used my pink Barry M Lipstick! I bought the Lindy Bop 'Hetty' rockabilly dress from the LB's Amazon store, and I must say this is made of the most perfect material if its a hot day, I find the dress is quite light and not too heavy, and the polka dots are just so super adorable!

Loads of Love!

Lip-tastic!

I have various amount of lip products in my small little beauty box in my room, I like to try out different lipsticks, lip gloss' and lip balms and here I am, sharing what I find works best for me! Some are lip products I would re-purchase and some are one's I'd just chuck in the bin!

1. Lip Balms

The first section we will be looking at is lip balms. Now, I have to admit I am an absolute sucker for for Carmex product's and personally I would recommend these 110% of the time, they have a beautiful smell, work wonders on your chapped lips to repair them, also they are so cheap (I mean only £2.69 from Boots, bargain or what?!) and the packaging is fabulous, so chic! However, DISASTER STRUCK! I ran out of Carmex and I didn't even realise, I was currently travelling to Cardiff and waiting for my connection at London Paddington, so off I dashed to a pharmacy which sold a tonne of lip balm products! So I bought several to try out while on my travels!

The first product I bought was the 'Nivea Lip Care Pearl & Shine'. This balm is tinted pink and packaged in an easy roll up tube. When first applied it makes your lips feel fantastic, however if you have very chapped lips like I did at the time, then this generally begins to bunch round the dry skin on your lips... Attractive? I think not.  This balm smells yummy and does look nice even if you want to go out and don't want any gloss or lip stick on. I found with this that the actual balm doesn't really last long on your lips and you do need to keep re-applying this to get a real effect from it. Overall, a product I would re-purchase if they don't have anything else really in stock. Now I am going to make a huge assumption here and guess that most of you have tried, used, or are currently using Vaseline products Vaseline have quite a few different smell lip balms
such as Rosy Lips, Aloe Vera, Cocoa Butter, and Original. I have Aloe Vera and Cocoa Butter. I personally prefer the Cocoa one as it generally smells better! I do find that this little pots of Vaseline never seem to become empty, I have probably had my Aloe Vera one since 2005, and yes I'm still only half way through! I also use Vaseline not only for my lips but for theatrical make-up for when I do photoshoot's. If I do ever want to buy the original, when my pots actually become empty then I would go to Superdrug and buy 'The Little (Blue, Pink or Green) Tin' as this is only 99p and its basically just the same product!

2. Lip Gloss
I do love myself many lip glosses and sadly if I showed all of them to you then this blog post would probably never end, so what I decided to do in the end was to go into my small beauty box and travel beauty bag and pick out the lip gloss' from these. On the left is one of the lip gloss' I really do rave
about! I adore the colour, the texture, the look, just everything about this lip gloss makes me super happy! This is the Maybelline 'Watershine Gloss'  I have this in the shade 'Cutie Pie'. The packaging is kind of like an ombre fading from bright pink into a baby silver pink. This is so easy to apply even if you are standing on a packed train and have barely any room, it is still possible! This has a small wand to apply with and it screws on the top of the lip gloss product. I have had this product for a while and I've not had to replace it yet which makes me super happy! I bought this product about 9 months ago now in Lloyds Pharmacy for £5.99. I use this product all the time, its my ultimate gloss and I would definitely replace this gloss when its finished! Unless I can find another gloss which blows me away then this will be the top of my list for a long time!
The next product I bought was in the little box of stuff they wanted to shift out of their stock, I rummaged through this box and found this 'Colour Sense' lip balm in 'Cherry Kiss', now to my complete surprise this was also in the clearance part of make-up in Morrisons. I managed to buy this for 50p. I love the smell of cherry products, however when I opened this product while on the train, I was seriously taken a back... First of all you do get the smell of cherry, but it was a very odd smell of cherry. I can definitely see why they had this in clearance and for only 50p. However, if you can by pass the smell of this balm, it is quite nice and feels great on chapped lips. It lasted ages on my lips, and it made them feel very smooth even when the product wasn't on! So, if smell honestly doesn't bother you then you should definitely find this somewhere, but if you are like me and have a sensitive little nose then I wouldn't purchase this. I occasionally use this now when I don't have any other products on me, but I am struggling to shift this product out of my beauty box and beauty travel bag.
The last product I am going to show you is a lip gloss from L'Oreal. This is called 'L'Oreal Glam Shine' and I have this in number 81 'Gold Toffee. I love the colour of this lip gloss, I'm not usually someone to go for this shade of colour as I like bold and bright colours on my lips however, this is an exception this lip gloss is so yummy. I also find that the smell of this lip gloss (I know I smell lip gloss, I'm weird!) reminds me of the smell of Chanel No.5. I am a huge Marilyn Monroe and 1950's fan so for me this is like heaven in lip gloss form! The coverage of this product is really good as well! It doesn't clump on chapped lips like some products and the shimmer gives you that extra little sparkle you need sometimes, even if its just a touch up! It is also really easy to apply, the heart shaped wand helps you to guide the lip gloss on all of your lips not just the easy bits! The only negative I have about this product is that there is just so little of it in the actual bottle! Its 6ml, but just seems so much less! L'Oreal please make this in a bigger bottle I'd love you if you did!

3. Lipstick's
Okay, I have lots of different types of lipsticks, and this is probably the bulk of the blog post!
This may take a while! The first 2 products I am going to show to you are from Barry M. Now, I know some people I am friends with actual hate Barry M products but I however love them! They aren't too expensive and I find they work perfectly for me! On the left is the Barry M lipstick in shade 158. I find that this lipstick comes out in quite a red/pink sort of tone. When I went to buy this one I actually thought this was a red lipstick, and I didn't test these 2 out that day as I had loads of products over my hands already! So I bought it and tried this out at home, and I was really pleasantly surprised! The colour isn't too harsh but it is still bright! On the right is the pink Barry M lipstick in shade 157. Now, I personally like to call this one 'Blossom' as it reminds me of Blossom from the Powerpuff Girls! I adore the colour of this lipstick, I've worn it several times and its definitely a contender for my favourite lipstick! I bought these two lipsticks for £4.49 each for either Superdrug or Boots! The next 2 lipsticks are from Maybelline; these are the 'Super Stay 24 Colour' lip products.
Now, I do use this products quite a lot, I mainly use this when I wear my Rockabilly dresses as I don't like to carry too much make-up in my small clutch bag! The coverage of these lipsticks last ages, but I wouldn't say 24 hours. I find that these last for about 8 hours without doing any touch-ups what-so-ever. This lipstick is dual ended; one end is the end with the actual lipstick, It has a wand to paint the lipstick onto your lips, the paint is very slack and you have to leave it to dry until you apply the gloss. (When you leave it to dry do not put your lips together, otherwise they will stick together, and this is not a nice experience!). I have these 2 lipsticks in 'Red Passion' which comes out as a harsh and bright red, which I love; I also have it in a deep pink colour 'Raspberry'. I would really recommend these if you want to avoid constant touch ups, but it can be a right pain to get off even with make-up removal wipes, and they can often stain your lips as well! You can but these for £8.99 each.
The next product is a lipstick from Mary Kay. I bought this lipstick a little while ago when I went round a friend's house for a make-up party with my mum and her mum. I saw this lipstick and knew I had to buy it! Its lasted me ages and smells devine. This lipstick is part of the 'Signature' collection, the coverage of this lipstick is amazing and makes your lips feel super soft as well! I bought this for  about £7.99 and I would really recommend this product. With this company you can also become a sales representative and work on commission and have beauty parties of your own! That just makes me very happy, if only I had the time!! The next product was actually a product I got a while back when I bought a pair of BeYu glasses. While at the opticians, they

told me that this company had started giving out free samples of their cosmetics to appeal to a new audience. Now I was so happy when I got these, it was just a bonus for my day. Brand new glasses and a lipstick and eye shadow pencil! This is colour 'Rouge à Lèvres' and this is basically a glitter lipstick giving you that extra little shimmer on your lips. This comes out as a baby pink on your lips and is so easy to work with an everyday outfit, office outfit or even for a night out! This is a product I would recommend for Valentine's Day if you have a significant other, but if you are like me and are a single cupcake then this is also perfect for everyday wear!
I have saved my favourite lipstick till last and that is the Estée Lauder R52 Re-Nutriv Lipstick in Aegean Coral. My mum originally bought this lipstick back in the 1980's but found that she didn't like it that much and she doesn't use it. So after I had a rumage through her make-up bag looking for my eye liner I found this and asked if I could borrow is, so she gave it to me! I have had this now for a year and I have nearly finished it. I am struggling to find somewhere that still sells this beautiful lipstick. The casing is so elegant and beautiful, and even once this is finished I will fill it with another lipstick. This is so chic and vintage and it describes me in a lipstick. The colour is a deep and rich pink, and feels amazing on your lips. It is the perfect lipstick to wear with an elegant knee or calf length dress. The coverage again is outstanding. Never have I fallen in love so much for a lipstick! My mum can't remember how much she bought this beauty for, but if I do find anywhere that does sell this exact lipstick I would pay any money for it! The elegance and sheer class of this lipstick makes me so happy. It is one that will sit proudly on my dressing table when it is assembled!
